How long does a kitchen or bath remodel really take?
A straight answer, week by week, from design visit to walkthrough.
Before we start
Design and selections usually take 2–4 weeks. Semi-custom cabinets from CNC Cabinetry often ship in 3–6 weeks, so we order them early and don't tear anything out until materials are close.
Bathroom
A typical bathroom takes 2–4 weeks on site: demo, plumbing and electrical, waterproofing, tile, vanity and glass.
Kitchen
A kitchen usually takes 4–8 weeks on site. Stone gets templated after the cabinets are installed and takes about a week to fabricate.
What slows things down
Moving walls, permit inspections and late finish decisions. Picking everything before demo is the single best way to stay on schedule.
